Set in tropical gardens, the four outdoor pools offer a complimentary sun bed and towel service as well as a hot tub; two of the saltwater swimming pools are situated right on the water’s edge and offer great views of the walled city of Valletta, and one has a swim-up bar. The onsite Spa Centre offers a vast range of treatments and therapies including thalassotherapy (guests booking All-Inclusive rooms are entitled to two pool treatments a day as part of their spa package), Thai and Chinese massage, Cleopatra milk baths, Turkish mud baths, light therapy, wraps, scrubs and a wealth of other beauty therapies (surcharges apply). Those feeling active can head to the fitness centre which offers gym equipment, aerobics classes and an indoor heated pool and spa tub. As well as seven à la carte restaurants the hotel has four bars including the cocktail bar, situated indoors by the lido and the venue for live entertainment and dancing every evening, and the island bar which is set in the middle of the swimming pool.
